Lunan Bay

Go to the Beach

Lunan Bay is one of the most magnificent sandy beaches on the East coast of Scotland. Great for family fun on the dunes, in the rock pools and caves and dodging the tides around the headland. A new cafe and farm shop has recently opened selling homemade cakes and local art and crafts.

Another beach to visit would be Montrose Beach with its promonade and Splash Childrens area, cafes, pitch and putt and amusement arcade.  You can walk the 4 miles to St Cyrus Beach which is another beautful sandy beach, wildlife centre with headland walks.

Montrose Forest

There are many walks for all standards in the forests and glens  -  Glen Clova is only 30 minutes away up to the mountains with fabulous scenery for walkers and bikers alike! Take your own picnic or indulge in good food and drinks at the hotel in the heart of Glen Clova!  Maps in the cottage for your use to get away and enjoy!
